Alhaji Yisa Ismaila Adebayo, also known as Omo Ade, from Abeokuta North Local Government, is calling on citizens to register for the All Progressives Congress (APC) membership card. The APC has launched a nationwide e-membership registration exercise, which is open to both old and new party members.
The registration requires a National Identification Number (NIN) and is aimed at updating and strengthening the party’s membership database. This initiative is part of the APC’s efforts to improve internal party administration, ensure transparency and accountability, and strengthen party structures ahead of future political activities.
According to the APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, the exercise is vital for proper documentation, party strengthening, and full participation in APC activities and decision-making. The party has urged members to get their NIN ready and proceed immediately to their ward offices to avoid missing out on the exercise.
Omo Ade made it known that “The APC’s online registration initiative is expected to expand the party’s membership base and enhance inclusion, particularly among tech-savvy young Nigerians across the country”.
