Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, On Saturday evening arrived at the nation’s capital city, Abuja after a three-day tour of Kano, Jigawa, and Kaduna.
The itinerary agro-tour which commenced on Wednesday, had the national communication team led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris who first flew to Kano, where they held an engagement with multi-media journalists, bloggers, and opinion leaders.
On Thursday, the communication team headed to Jigawa state, paid homages to Governor Umar Namadi and the Emir of Dutse.
Thereafter they visited maize and wheat farms in Aujo and Ringim, farms that are heavily subsidized by the Tinubu administration under its dry season programme.
In Ringim, the Presidential Communications team alongside the Minister of Information witnessed wheat harvest.
On Friday, the Presidential team held a town hall meeting with business leaders in Kano, with Alhaji Idris explaining the economic programme of the government. The business leaders gave very useful feedback. The communication experts left Kano after visiting Governor Yusuf.
Friday evening, they arrived in Kaduna and on Saturday morning attended a Ramadan lecture on Family Dynamics. Alhaji Idris also seized the occasion to explain government’s program.
The Presidential aides capped the trip with a two-hour journey by train back to Kubwa Abuja.
