OPEN LETTER TO THE DISTINGUISH SENATOR DR PATRICK IFEANYI UBAH

r Most Distinguished Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah,

I write this open letter to congratulate you on your landslide victory in the just concluded National Assembly elections.

Your emergence reflects the voice of the people of Nnewi North and Anambra South at large as you were unanimously voted for across party lines based on your personality and not your party affiliation.

As the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and the Senator-elect for the 10th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you have proven yourself to be a true parliamentarian who upholds equity and fairness in the representation of the people.

However, with the March 11 polls coming up, I urge you not to interfere with the decision of Ndị Nnewi North in choosing who best represents us at the Anambra State House of Assembly in 2023.

It is important that you allow Ndị Nnewi to choose who we believe will best serve the interest of Ndị Nnewi amongst one of our brothers from Uruagu to represent us at the State level.

I urge you to resist the urge to interfere in the March 11 polls by allowing the people to make their own choice, you will prove that you are a true representative of the people, who puts the interests of the people first before personal or party interests.

I implore you to show and prove that you are against godfatherism, Vote Buying and Rigging in politics, and to resist the urge to impose your party’s candidate on Ndị Nnewi.

This will go a long way in showing that you truly represent and value the voice of the people, and that you are not only a Senator for YPP members by upholding the interests of the people over party affiliations.

Once again, I congratulate you on your well-deserved victory and urge you to continue to serve the people of Anambra South Senatorial District with the utmost dedication and integrity worthy of emulation judged right by posterity if you demonstrate that you are a true democrat and leader who respects the voice and choice of the people, maka na nke dị n’ihu ka.
