How the 2023 general elections was systematically compromised.

  1. Irrespective of how sharp the snapped result is, the BVAS degrades it to a very poor quality file.
  2. All units had to do offline login, instead of online. Thus, the PU results were not submitted directly to the inec server.
  3. In many areas, the number of accredited voters could not be exported. Instead, the error message in the image below popped up.
  4. The SIM network used was unreliable, voters used WiFi

5 @inecnigeria Adhoc staff were not trained. They struggled with navigating the BVAS, they struggled with simple numeracy – computing total ballots issued vs total ballots unused.
In fact, many POs came to the field with ballots less than the number of voters on the register

  1. What we have seen is a systematic rigging of the elections. This was planned long before candidates chose their party. A broken system was designed to favour the ruling party.
