On various occasions, His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has made it clear that the welfare of the youths remains the bedrock of the state’s future and to this end, the Shared Prosperity administration has continued to engineer processes to place Imo youths on the path of progress.

The recent harvest by the 3R government for Imo Youths is the Mandela Washington Fellowship (MWF)for Young African Leaders – a flagship program of the US Government’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), open for only Imo State youths across the 36 State of the federation. This is loud considering the fact that on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021, the US Consultant in Lagos would conduct a virtual outreach to prospective applicants from Imo State.

This close and direct arrangement is one of those impacts of the tripod strategy of the Imo State Government under His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. The youth-friendly Governor had earlier in his appointment placed Square pegs in square holes when he appointed Hon. Ogu Daniel Hamza as the Commissioner for Youths and Sports with the support and initiatives of His Youthfulness Hon. Eric Uwakwe, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Affairs.

Recall that in his address to the Imo Youths on the International Youth Day, His Excellency reaffirmed the value placed on Imo youths and assured of his administration’s commitment towards ensuring the consideration of the youth’s welfare at all times. These and many more are parts and parcels of the government initiatives to empower the Imo Youths.

Kindly key into this by applying at www.tinyurl.com/ImoMWF and have a feel of a digital working Government for the interest of all.
