The Social Democratic Party, SDP, has said that opposition political parties were on the move to join the party in order to unseat the ruling APC in 2019 election. The party also claimed that about 2 million Nigerians joins its fold daily to combat the ruling party for deceiving Nigerians.
Former National Secretary of the SDP, Alhaji Saleh Huseini Dass disclose this to DAILY POST in Bauchi.
He added that the SDP was the only third force capable to unseat President Buhari in 2019 with the growing acceptance of the party.
He attributed his belief to the recent defection of professors Jerry Gana and Tunde Adeniran from PDP to the party.
According to Husseini, soon the party will receive another defectors from APC governors, Senators, Reps and States Assembly members in the country.
The former National Secretary maintained that Nigerians were tired of APC and needed a platform like SDP whose focus was to provide good leadership.
“SDP is overwhelm by the influx of defectors to its fold which indicates that APC is gone, since it cannot no longer provide good governance,” Husseni said.
