A DISTRESS CALL HAD GONE TO IMO STATE GOVERNMENT TO AS A MATTER OF URGENCY, SPEED WORKFORCE ON NAZE/NEKEDE/FEDPONEK IHIAGWA/FUTO/OBINZE ROAD AS HOODLUMS PLAN TO LAUNCH ATTACK TO DESTROY THE ALREADY GOOD WORKDONE ON THIS PARTICULAR ROAD.
The reason is not far fetched but politically stage managed by anti Government agents to ridicule the good works of governor Uzodinma.
Reliable security report is to the effect that some disgruntled elements who’s only interest is to continue to oppose and speak ill of the 3Rs government led by our hardworking governor, Sen.Hope Uzodinma have concluded plans to clandestinely destroy the good road works of the government on the NAZE/NEKEDE/IHIAGWA/OBINZE road by PULLING DOWN THE CONCRETE PAVEMENTS AND DIVIDERS on the road.
The state government is by this, alerting all stakeholders, indigenes, residents and indeed all men of goodwill to be on the guard against this plan to destroy the peoples benefits from this administration.
On a chat with 9News Nigeria, a notable indigene of IHIAGWA Owerri west local government, Barr. Victor Chinemerem Muruako (EKWUEME,OWERRI WEST LGA), revealed that such attempt by Hoodlums and anti Government agents will certainly destroy the image of the relationship Owerri people has with IMO GOVERNMENT.
Muruako however stated that Government is also appealing to us all to take bold steps to own these projects cited in our area as government will be prepared to spend any extra resources in repairing or replacing any damaged or destroyed infrastructure if the citizens standby to watch opposition politicians or sponsored youths to destroy its developmental plan.
Consequently, Muruako said he was constrained to appeal to “our people NDE OWERRI” particularly “NDE OWERRI WEST” to be vigilant to protect their common benefits from any government whether state, Federal or local.
He added that the people owe it to themselves and their children to ensure that any infrastructural development in this area is not only protected but also preserved and defended for the greater benefit of their people.
He finally prayed God to bless Nekede/Ihiagwa/ Obinze people and assured them of Governor Hope Uzodinma’s resolve to complete the road and develop Owerri west.
