… calls on him to withdraw from making misleading publications of consensus candidates from Anambra State as such never happened
The leadership of the Federation of PDP Youths in Anambra State has called on the PDP South East zonal Chairman Chief Ali Odefa to avoid complicating unneccessary Issues for the party in the zone ahead of the October 30 & 31st PDP National convention.
Speaking to 9news Nigeria by the coordinator of Anambra FPDPY Comrade Okongwu Promise .A. this evening, when asked what are his thoughts on the statement of adopting consensus candidates from various States purportedly published and signed by Chief Ali Odefa, he said such statement is unfortunate to have come from a man that should do every thing possible to keep the zone United ahead of 2023 presidential election.
If there is any body who wants to complicate issues in PDP South East, it musn’t be chief Ali Odefa for crying out loud the coordinator said.
Stressing further, he said that even if there are some unpopular candidates that are going behind to agitate to be endorsed as a consensus candidate that the PDP South East vice chairman shouldn’t have entangled himself with such a divisive idea in the first place.
he finally ended his speech by saying that to the Best of his group knowledge as an interested party in the overall development of the party that the south east Leaders which Is been led by the South East PDP governors (HE Okezie Ikpeazu & HE Ugwuanyi) has adopted that any interested party should go ahead and contest for any of the available party position respectively and that we must respect and stand with as Party men and hence urges chief Ali Odefa to withdraw such purported list of consensus candidates and stand with the party in the interest of peace and development.
When been asked if the Federation of PDP Youths has adopted a candidate for any of the position? His Answer was not yet, but further assures that the PDP Youth campaign affiliated Organization will always be interested in what ever decision that is made in our great party and will always support the good ones and call a Spade a Space.
The Federation of PDP Youths Anambra State Chapter with its state Executives, 21 local government and 326 Wards Executives in the state is visible currently working hard to deliver the PDP at it’s candidates in Anambra ahead of the November 6th governorship Elections in the state.
