Following the recent hike in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as Petrol, the Edo State Government has postponed school resumption due to the rising petrol prices and challenges faced by parents and guardians.
Schools in most parts of Nigeria are set to resume on Monday September 9, 2024.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Ojo Akin-Longe, saying the resumption of all public schools has been postponed until further notice.
