The photo of the flatmate of British-Nigeria student nurse Tamilore Elizabeth Odunsi has been released after he was charged with her murder.

Tamilore Elizabeth Odunsi was found with multiple stab wounds on the kitchen floor of a property in Texas at around 3.50 p.m on April 26, 2025, according to Houston Police.

Her 40- year-old flatmate, Chester Lamar Grant was taken to hospital in a critical condition following the incident in Gofort Street, Houston, the Force said.

He has now been charged with her murder. Detectives were called to the property above an apartment complex for a welfare check and did not receive an answer when they knocked on the door, police said. As well as discovering the body of Ms Odunsi when they entered the address, the officers also found a man in a bedroom with at least one stab wound.

Tamilore, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her murder occured “just days before she was set to graduate from University.
