Halima Cisse, born March 21, 1996, is a Malian mother of the world’s only nonuplets known to have survived childbirth.
On May 4, 2021, her nine nonuplets were born prematurely via Caesarean Section at 40 weeks, with weights ranging from 500g to 1kg.
The birth was postponed for as long as possible to enhanced the chances of the babies survival.
Her children include four boys; Muhammad, Bah, El -Hadji, and Oumar, along with five girls; Adama, Hawa, Fatima, Oumou, and Kadidia, all of them are in “perfect health”.
