The Plateau State House of Assembly Committee on Health holds a public hearing on two significant Bills aimed at improving healthcare in the state.
The first Bill seeks to establish for a law for Plateau Blood Service Commission to coordinate, regulate and ensure the provision of quality blood and blood products, while the second Bill is for law to prohibit the production, sale and consumption of illicit drinks and banned substances and the establishment of sensitive behaviour therapeutic centers in Plateau State and for related matters 2024.
Speaking with journalists, the Chairman of the Committee on Health, Hon. Daniel Nanbol who appreciated the goodwill of the people of the state noted that, all contributions are very innovative and will be considered as long as it does not contravene any existing law.
