
Legendary Eedris Abdulkareem has praised Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang for restoring public trust in governance within his two years in office.
The music legend, who spoke in a video broadcast outlining Mutfwang’s achievement pointed out specifically that the Governor has restored peace in the State despite some skirmishes killings which sometimes occurs at some targeted communities.
Mentioning most of the project executed by Governor Mutfwang, the artist said irrespective of the security challenges faced, Mutfwang was still focused in delivering on his campaign promises.
He mentioned over 30 -road construction in Jos metropolis completed and delivered by the Governor in just two years in office.
The roads were both constructed and rehabilitated to connect communities and open opportunities for citizens.
Abdulkareem, pointed out that Mutfwang has corrected the mistakes of his predecessors, by playing the politics of winners takes it all and has rekindle citizens’ confidence in leadership.
He commended the Governor for promoting fairness, equity, and justice across all sectors, regardless of political, religious, or ethnic affiliations
According to him, the absence of ethno-religious crisis, once a common challenge in the state, is a direct result of the Governor’s consistent commitment to addressing sensitive issues that, If left unattended, could lead to conflict.
Mutfwang has practically within two years change the face of Plateau by most especially correcting all the ills left behind by his predecessors, he said.
The interest of the legendary artist, Abdulkareem, was drawn to Jos, made possible by Joe B Entertainment, a Jos based entertainer who also has for past decade showcased Plateau to the world.
It would be recalled that few weeks back Abdulkareem was in Jos Main Market, where the singer gave out over N1 million in cash to the vulnerable crowd that thronged his presence.
He said the gesture was to ameilorate the sufferings of those who lost their shops and goods to the inferno.
Joe B lauds the Governor for providing enabling environment for entertainment to thrive, saying that his two years in office has been such a blessing to entertainers and the Plateau citizens.
