The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang on Monday appointed some key personalities in his administration.
A statement by Moses Nwan, Senior Special Assistant (Special Duties) to the Governor stated that the Executive Governor has approved the appointment of Arch. Samuel Nanchang Jatau as Secretary to the Government of the State (SSG).
According to the statement, Jatau is a retired Director in the Plateau state civil service. He was also a Governorship aspirant in 2019 and presently an active and practicing politician in the PDP family.
It added that the Governor also approved the appointment of Barrister Philemon Dafi as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice designate while Moses Nwan has been appointed as private secretary to the Governor.
The statement explained that Dafi is a seasonal legal practitioner with more than 30 years of active legal practice and member of the Council of Legal Education in Nigeria.
While Nwan is a retired permanent secretary with Plateau State Government and former local government administrator.
He is said to be a devoted community leader and presently the Senior Special Assistant (Special Duties) to the Governor of Plateau state.
The appointments are with immediate effect.
