A group under the auspices of Back Up Team for Peter Obi, Plateau State chapter, on Tuesday in Jos went all out to celebrate the birthday and as well as garner support for the aspiration of the Labour Party’s Presidential flagbearer, Mr Peter Obi.
Obi , Former Governor of Anambra State and a Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) clocked 61, July 19,2022.
In a ceremony on Tuesday in Jos which took place under the famous Secretariat junction flyover bridge, the group’s State coordinator, Ruth Bot- Sha described him as an outstanding patriot, compassionate, detribalised, humble, honest, selfless and God- fearing leader both in politics and his private life.
The group said the best gift Nigerians should give Obi, is to elect him as president, as according to them, he had the wherewithal to rescue, transform, redeem, restore and revamp the socio-economic status of Nigeria.
They re-echoed the need for Nigerians to Obtain their Personal Voters Cards (PVC’S) as it is the only way to effect a progressive change in Nigeria.
“The election in Osun shows that the present electoral reforms will definitely make sure our votes count, and our PVC is the best bet”, Bot-Sha said.
The Labour Party Presidential candidate since leaving office in 2014, has rendered unequal humanitarian aids and services in all the geopolitical zones of the Country.
