A Former Federal Lawmaker, Shehu Sani has reacted to the recent horrifying incidents that occurred in Plateau State on Christmas Eve.

Reports confirmed that the blood-curling simultanous attacks by assailants on over fifteen communities in Barkin-Ladi and Bokkos Areas of the State.

The terrorists set different house ablaze on Sunday night and also looted farm produce and destroyed properties as they butchered the residents.

However, speaking on the development, Senator Sani, in a tweet via X account on Tuesday, said he watched the video of the outcome of the Massacre in Plateau, adding that the scene of a baby crying on the back of the corpse of his/her mother was horror.

He described the said incident as one of the most cruel and evil act of inhumanity he has ever seen.

He wrote: “I watched the video of the outcome of the Massacre in Plateau State.

This is one of the most cruel and evil acts of inhumanity I’ve ever seen. Should we condemn it and unequivocally demand Justice or should we continue with the deodorisation of mass murder using religious or ethnic statements?.

“The scene of a baby crying on the back of the corpse of its mother is Horror that should haunt the conscience of every responsible citizen of this Country”.
