The Commissioner of Police Plateau State Command, CP Emmanuel Olugbemiga Adesina, has decorated four newly promoted officers of the Command who were elevated from the rank of Superintendent of Police (CSP) by the Inspector General of Police.

While addressing the promotees shortly after decorating them in his office at the Police State Headquarters Jos on Wednesday, the CP told the officers that they are privileged to be among the beneficiaries of the Promotion as many of their colleagues were caught off from the Promotion as result of death, reprimand and for other obvious reasons.

He charged the new Federal Chiefs to be more committed to their constitutional duties, justify their new ranks, and demonstrate exceptional Leadership in the new capacity.

The officers were also told to note that, there could be changes in their various postings to offices suitable for their new rank.

The Plateau Police Chief who blessed and prayed for the officers in the light of their present and future ranks, tasked families of the CDPs to continue to pray for the officers and wish them well in their lines of duty.

In appreciation speech, CSP Babissa Timothy who spoke on behalf of the promotees assured the CP that they will be more committed in discharge of their responsibilities and live up to the expectation of their new ranks.
