JOS (9News Nigeria) – Senator representing Plateau Central District, Hezekiah Dimka and Professor Nora Daduut representing Plateau South Senatorial Tuesday condemned the Sunday attack on some Communities in Kanam LGA.
9News Nigeria gathered that over 100 persons were killed, houses burnt and Properties destroyed.
In a statement in Jos, Senator Dimka, a retired Commissioner of police said he visited the Executive chairman of Kanam Local Government Area recently, Dr Dayyabu Garga in Dengi the Headquarters of Kanam Local Government Area to commiserate with him on the attacks, where he described the massive killings and wanton destruction of properties as too many, disheartening, sad and unfortunate and reiterated his call on the Federal Government to come to the rescue of the State.
He called on the security agencies to intensify their efforts by investigating the masterminds of the killing in a bid to bring them to book as a deterrent to others.
The retired Commissioner of Police also said that the people of Plateau Central condemn the dastardly act of taking the lives of innocent people and destruction of property while consoling with the families of those affected in the course of these senseless attacks.
Senator Dimka further donated bags and consumable items as a contribution to alleviate the suffering of the affected.
In a related development, Senator Nora Daduut, representing Plateau South Senatorial District also condemned the barbaric killings.
Daduut, therefore, called on the Federal Government to put in place machinery that would ensure that the perpetrators were brought to book while urging the Federal Government to expeditiously apprehend the perpetrators of the dastardly act and brought them to book.

Senator Daduut also commended Governor Lalong for the quick response to the dastardly situation as well as his peace building effort on the Plateau.
