Police arrest 25-year-old FuLafia Student, Recovers Pistol, Charms

A 25-year-old student of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Daniel Favour, has been arrested by the operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command’s Anti- Kidnapping Unit.

The Suspects a 200- Level student of the institution’s Department of Social Works was arrested on Thursday December 28, acting based on credible information.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ramhan Nansel made this known in a statement on Friday. “

A search warrant was executed at his residence where local fabricated Beretta pistol, four(4) live ammunition, and criminal charms/ herbs were recovered as exhibits”, the statement reads further.

Gandu a neighbouring community to the University where hundreds of its students and staff resides had recently witnessed a surge in criminal activities in the State.
