Police Sergeant Kills Own Father Who Is A Retired ASP In Borno

A shocking incident took place in Maiduguri, Borno State on Sunday July 21, 2024, when a Police Sergeant, Sunday Wadzani, allegedly shot and killed his biological father, retired Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Wadzani Ntasiri.

According to reports, the incident happened behind the State Police Command Headquarters in Maiduguri, around 4.20pm.

The suspect, who is attached to Borno State House of Assembly, was arrested and currently in custody at GRA Police station in the state.

A security source confirmed the incident, stating that Sargeant Wadzani shot his father seven times after a minor feud.

The motive behind his action is yet to be ascertained.
