President Tinubu Approves Reviewed List Of Governing Council

Nigeria’s President,Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu today approves the appointment of reviewed list of Governing Councils Of Federal Universities, Polytechnics And Colleges Of Education.

In a statement on Friday via the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation {SGF},a review list was released a containing members of the governing councils approved by the President.

9News Nigeria recalls that,the Federal Government had withdrawn a list of members of the reconstituted governing councils released some weeks ago following protests by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and other relevant stakeholders, saying it was biase and does not reflect the federal character.

The list comprises of five names each for 51 universities, 35 polytechnics and 22 colleges of education.

Those who made the list were congratulated and asked to serve with all dignity.
