The Governor of Ebonyi state, Francis Nwifuru, has invited all state government functionaries to honor President Tinubu as he visits the state on April 16th.
In a Monday statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and State Orientation — Engr. Jude Chikadibia Okpor, the governor has invited the general public.
At the Flag-off for the construction of the Calabar–Ebonyi–Benue–Nasarawa–Abuja Super Highway Section 1(118.8km) His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to be present.
Aimed at boosting transportation, stimulating trade and fostering inter-regional cohesion, cooperation, and collaboration among the South East and North Central, the road project has been going on since late 2024; sponsored by the president.
Therefore, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, 1 pm, at Amuro Mgbom Primary School, Afikpo, Ebonyi State, the state Governor has invited the following;
The state Deputy Governor — Princess Patricia Onyemachi Obilah, The Rt. Hon. Speaker and Members of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Federal appointees of Ebonyi extraction, Former Governors/ Deputies and the Chairman of APC and Members of the State Working Committee.
He also specially invited past and present stakeholders, ministers, members, state Chairmen, all organizations, forums and general public to the Flagoff.
