Earlier today Thursday President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR hosted the Exxon Mobil Executives, Mr Liam Mallon and Mrs Adesua Dozie, at the State House Abuja.

9News Nigeria reports that the meeting was targetted at finding lasting solution to the continuous challenges in the oil sector.

However the meeting marks the continuation of Tinubu’s administration’s efforts to secure the collaboration of critical players in the oil sector towards ensuring stability, transparency and fair competition in the sector.

Recall that Nigeria is being faced with enormous setbacks in the oil sector which has led to high pump price of fuel (PMS) across the States of the federation.

It will be a good step forward to see an immediate alternative in motion by the Tinubu-led-administration to cushion the effects of high transport fare and cost of petroleum products in Nigerian market.

The meeting is expected to yield a good outcome while caution be placed on oil marketers to desist from impoverishing Nigerians unduly through fuel hike. The meeting will expand to other critical stakeholders and partners in the oil sector.
