Enugu State is set to host His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, tomorrow as he embarks on a significant state visit to commission several transformative projects spearheaded by the State Governor, Peter Mbah’s administration.
The announcement, made by Governor Mbah via his official social media handles, highlighted key achievements that indicates the administration’s focus on quality education, accessible healthcare, and enhanced infrastructure.
Among the projects to be commissioned are 30 fully equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools, part of a larger initiative to construct 260 such institutions across all wards in the state.
The schools, according to him, are designed to redefine the learning environment and improve educational outcomes for children in Enugu.
Also on the list are 60 completed Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, part of an ambitious plan to deliver 260 modern healthcare facilities aimed at enhancing access to quality medical services across the state.
Infrastructure upgrades include the Enugu International Conference Centre, a multi-auditorium facility positioned to attract national and international events, and 90 newly completed urban roads.
Additionally, the unveiling of a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre equipped with 150 AI-embedded surveillance cameras and patrol vehicles marks a significant stride in strengthening security across the state.
“This visit by Mr. President is not just a milestone for Enugu State; it is a testament to our shared vision for progress and transformation,” Governor Mbah stated.
