Pro-Wike Lawmaker, Prince Nyeche Accuses CTC Chairman, Orji Of Masterminding Looting Of Armoured Cables Worth $18,000,000

The Defected Lawmaker, Representing Ikwerre Local Government Constituency in Rivers State Assembly, Hon Prince Lemchi Nyeche has accused the Caretaker Committee Chairman representing Ikwerre Local Government, Hon Darlington Orji Over Masterminding the looting of Armoured Cables belonging to DSC Company located at Omagwa beside the Port Harcourt International Hotel.

Information reaching us that early hours of Sunday 21/07/2024, six trucks heavily loaded with Armored Cables were intercepted by Nigeria Police Officers attached to the Igwuruta Divisional Police Station while they were carrying the cables out of the community, and the divers were arrested and are still at the police custody at the time of filling this report.

A source told our correspondent via phone conversation, that the trucks were escorted by some men from the Nigerian Police, who were armed with their uniforms.

The Pro- wike lawmaker, Hon Prince Nyeche said he was called as the member representing the constituency and he immediately visited the scene of the crime and saw the trucks fully loaded with Armored cables worth $18,000,000, which are properties belonging to a company that is working with the Rivers State Government.

He said I was shocked when I got to the scene and am so grateful to the men of Nigeria police at the Igwuruta Divisional police station for their quick responses.

Hon Prince Nyeche started it clearly in a video, which was posted on Social Media ( Facebook ) where he accused the present Caretaker Committee Chairman, Hon Darlington Orji of masterminding the looting of the Armored cables.

He said from my investigation, I was informed that the self-acclaimed illegal Caretaker Committee Chairman, Darlington Orji knows something about the cable looting, some persons from the Rivers State Government House, and the policemen who escorted the trucks, their uniforms had no name tag on it and they ran immediately the DPO and S.O of the Igwuruta Divisional Police Station Arrived at the scene of the crime.

I am calling on the inspector general of police, Rivers State Commissioner of police, DSS, and other security operatives to get Hon Darlington Orji arrested because no one is above the law “he added”

Our correspondent put a call across to the S.O of Igwuruta Divisional Police Station but he promised to give part of his statement if it’s needed.
