In the early hours of yesterday, Monday 12th August 2024, the Court restated the All Progressive Congress Caretaker Chairman, Tony Okocha, was sacked.
A State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has delivered a decisive decision against Chief Tony Okocha and other members of the Caretaker Committee assigned by the All Progressive Congress National Working Committee.
The court ruled that the persons parading themselves as the party Executives in Rivers State should desist from it and should stop presenting themselves as the Caretaker Committee members in the state.
Chief Emeka Beke, the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State, disclosed that the 25 lawmakers are members of the All Progressive Congress (APC)
Beke makes this known while addressing Newsmen that whoever welcomes the 25 lawmakers into the party doesn’t count what count they are members of the All Progressive Congress.
We will invite them to the upcoming stakeholders meeting on Thursday and if they fail to attend, we will take disciplinary measures against Rt Hon Martins Amaewhule and his colleagues ” he added”
