*Prof Ademola Ojo Emmanuel Foundation seeks Empowerment Partnership with APC
Dr Olatunbosun Sunday Odusanya, the Director General of PAOE Foundation, made the request during a courtesy visit by the delegates of the Foundation to the National Chairman of APC, HE, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje at the National Secretariat in Abuja recently.
Dr Odusanya, representing the founder and initiator of PAOE Foundation, Prof Ojo Emmanuel Ademola at the meeting, explained that the best legacy that the current APC Administration can bequeath to the youthful generation of Nigerians is a technical computer skill that aids software programming acquisition.
Dr Odusanya stated that working with the PAOE Foundation, the much envisaged ‘Renew Hope Agenda’ of the APC Government can be effectively realised and made enduring towards solving youth unemployment across Nigeria.Dr Odusanya noted that the PAOE’s Coding Hub was designed to be a learning environment for youths, adults, and children where programming languages are taught as a serious academic subject, adding that “the vision is to build students at the local level, and then broaden the reach of the students with ample global technological opportunities.
It is aimed to foster good education and vocational training for individuals in primary and junior secondary schools within the locality at no cost”.Explaining the modalities further, Dr Odusanya said: “The PAOE Foundation’s experts will deliver the programmes through training that will include topics such as JavaScript basics, HTML5 basics, Coding Basics, Building websites through JQuery, and CSS3”.
In his remarks, the APC National Chairman commended the Foundation for its foresight in recommending the empowerment programme and promised that the Secretariat would take a thorough look at the comprehensive proposal, and make its recommendations to the appropriate quarter
