Imo State University, (IMSU), Owerri has appointed a new Deputy Vice Chancellor.
Professor Isidore Diala is a Professor of African Literature.
While on call with 9News Nigeria, the professor revealed that his appointment was ratified by the Senate of the institution on Wednesday.
Professor Diala is of the Department of English and Literary Studies in the Faculty of Humanities.
He is an international scholar, critic and researcher. He is a two-time winner of the NLNG literary criticism.
Meanwhile, he has expressed his profound gratitude to the university for the opportunity to serve.
He was until his appointment as the Director of General Studies Unit.
