Professor Zainab Duke-Abiola, one of the widows of late MKO Abiola has been remanded at the Suleja Correctional Centre for allegedly assaulting a female police orderly attached to her, Teju Moses.
The FCT Police Command had on Friday arraigned Mrs Duke-Abiola and her domestic worker, Rebecca Enechido, before a Magistrate’s Court sitting in Wuse District.
The presiding Magistrate denied the professor bail, adjourning the case to October 5, 2022.
The court also ordered that Mrs Duke-Abiola be remanded in Suleja Prison pending the adjourned date.
