Lola, wife of Peter Okoye of PSquare musical duo, celebrates 11th wedding anniversary, saying marrying a musician is no joke.
Lola Omotayo-Okoye, on Thursday professed her undying love, happiness and gratitude to Peter as they both mark their years of togetherness.
Lola on her twitter handle @lolaomotayo_okoye said being married to a musician has not been easy.
She was full of gratitude to Peter for treating her like a lady, providing for `our family and putting us first at all times’’.
“To my dearest husband @peterpsquare, happy anniversary. Ours has been a long journey filled with lessons and unique experiences that have shaped who we have become today.
“ I am happy to say that we are now best friends besides everything else. I have learned to listen and respect you more and you have learned to appreciate me as I am.
“I thank you for treating me like a lady and for always being there for me. I thank you for providing for our family and for putting us first at all times.’’
She said it was not easy being on a glamorous side of life.
“We refused to realize that you are a human being first with feelings and needs just as anyone else.
“11 years together is not a joke. I see the non-glamorous side of you and still love you as you come.

Lola and Peter are blessed with two kids, Alion and Cameron.
