In a bid to make Imo better and further secure the lives and Properties of Ndi Imo, The Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has directed the Special Adviser On Special Duties to the Governor, Hon. Nze Chinasa Nwaneri to inform all commercial taxi and bus drivers in Imo State, to go to the Imo State Ministry of Transport and undertake the following exercises:
This release was signed by Nze CHINASA NWANERI, S.A Special Duties to the Governor and it reads as thus:
- Data capture and compliance with uniformed taxi colour for IMO state commercial vehicles.
- The following are the colour codes (a). Blue colour code 3011, to be painted down.
b). White colour code 797 to be painted up
C) Red colour code 555 to be painted as two red lines running from the boot to the bonnet.
- The above colour and design is the approved colour for commercial vehicles in the state and there will be strict enforcement with penalty.
- Commercial vehicles drivers are enjoined to comply with this notice within 14 days from today the 8th of June 2021.
This is to check the security situation in the state.
