Popular political musician, Dauda Kahutu, widely known as Rarara has accused former Kano State Governor and leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, of contributing to some of the economic and administrative difficulties currently facing Nigeria.
Rarara made the allegations while reacting to ongoing national debates over the country’s economic situation, arguing that political leaders who previously held influential positions in government should also bear responsibility for the challenges confronting Nigeria today.
The musician specifically pointed at Kwankwaso’s part roles in public service, insisting that the former governor cannot be completely absolved blame for the nation’s current hardships.
His comments have sparked reactions among political observers and supporters of both camps, with many debating the extent to which former leaders should held accountable for present-day economic realities.
Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano State and presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 general election, remains one of the country’s most influential opposition figures.
His Kwankwasiyya Movement continues to command significant support, particularly in Northern Nigeria.
As of the time of filing this report, Kwankwaso had not publicly responded to the allegations made by the musician.
