A Nigerian known as Sarki with twitter handle @waspapping_ took to his twitter hands to demand a refund of his contribution toward the election of President Mohammed Buhari over the hardship the administration has unleashed on Nigerians.
Sarki’s call for refund came yesterday as Buhari’s government increased the price of fuel Premium Motor Spirit PMS to N151.56
Also yesterday Femi Fani-Kayode a former Minister of Aviation in Obasanjo era reminded the like of Sarki that he had triggered an alarm of warning to restrain them from voting Muhammed Buhari in 2015.
The former Minister popularly known as FFK mocked the like of Sarki in the following manner:
2015:
Fuel =N87
ECA =$2.5bn
Dollar =N200
Bag of rice =N8,500
External debt =$9.7b
2020:
Fuel =N150
ECA =$72m
Dollar =N475
Bag of rice =N25,000
External debt =$27bn
In the 2015 presidential campaign I warned Nigerians that this would happen if Buhari was elected.
I shouted it on the rooftops morning day and night but the people refused to listen.
Instead they insulted me and rejected Jonathan. Let them continue with their insults and enjoy their plight.
This is a sad testimony and horrendous plight for our country but worse of all is the fact that there is far more to come.
Those of you who supported Buhari in 2015 should clap for yourselves and shout “Sai Baba!”
