REVEALED: Nigerians Scam French Woman of $850,000 Using AI-Generated Images

A 53-year-old French woman, identified as Anne, has reportedly lost her life savings of $850,000 to scammers who posed as Hollywood actor Brad Pitt using AI-generated images.

The fraud, which has drawn international attention, was carried out by individuals believed to be based in Nigeria.

According to reports by French broadcaster TF1, Anne was led to believe she was in an online romantic relationship with the 61-year-old movie star.

The scammers, leveraging advanced AI technology to create convincing images of Pitt, were able to deceive her over time and manipulate her into sending large sums of money.

Anne’s legal team has now launched efforts to track and prosecute at least three Nigerians suspected of orchestrating the scheme.

French authorities have also begun investigating the matter, highlighting the growing threat posed by technology-driven scams.

This incident underscores the rising prevalence of romance scams, where unsuspecting victims are lured into fake relationships for financial exploitation.

Authoritative reports have warned the public to exercise caution in online interactions and remain vigilant against sophisticated tactics employed by fraudsters.
