A renowned human rights activist, Comrade Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman, has
felicitated with Osogbo born legal practitioner, Barrister Kunle
Rasheed Adegoke popularly known as “K-RAD” over his elevation as
member of Senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN),saying that counting
Adegoke worthy of the prestigious member of legal silk was putting a
round peg in a round hole.

He insisted that Barrister Adegoke deserved to be honoured with the
rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) because he has contributed
immensely to the development of Legal profession in the country,
believing that he would do more for his choosing career.

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) on Friday
announced Adegoke as one of the seven-two (72) legal Practitioners to
be conferred with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria
(SAN) in the country for year 2020.

This was contained in a personal signed congratulatory message to the
new Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and copies were made available to
newsmen on Sunday, Sulaiman described K-RAD as focused legal icon and
freedom fighter, adding that he is an epitome of humility and friend
of the oppressed.

He appreciated the LPPC for counting him worthy of the rank, saluting
his courage and strong conviction for social justice over the years.
He also sees K-RAD as a quite essential rebel with a great cause to
humanity.

He urged Barrister Adegoke to see the new elevation as a call to serve
humanity with more contribution to the growth and development of the
legal profession in the country and beyond.

Sulaiman who is Executive Chairman, Centre for Human Rights and Social
Justice (CHRSJ),advised new member of Silk to always stood up for the
truth by ensuring the observance of rule of law in all his dealings.
