The Public Relations Officer of the Command, Grace Iringe Koko, disclosed this at a media briefing. She said the officers arrested the two victims from Aba in Abia State under the guise of an investigation with no complainant and took them to Rivers, Bayelsa, and Delta States before extorting the money. She named the three officers ASP Daubra Edonyabo, ASP Talent Mungo, and Inspector Odey Michael.

SP Iringe-Koko also said the actions of the officers violate the core values and standards expected of police officers. Our Correspondent reports that SP Grace Iringe Koko also said that the two senior police officers have been issued queries while the Inspector has been subjected to an orderly room trial.
