The 2023 Governorship Candidate Under the Labour Party and the immediate past Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Chairperson of Rivers State, Hon Comrade Beatrice Itubo Dumps the state Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, Aligns With the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Chief Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
The immediate past labor chairperson, Comrade Beatrice has always had it so hot during her reign as Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Rivers State with
the immediate past Governor, Chief Barrister Nyesom Wike.
She has never supported the led- government of Barrister Nyesom Wike, over his style of governance and she was one of the strong opposition of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) During the reign of the immediate past Governor of the state, Chief Nyesom Wike and also during the 2023 Governorship Race.
Immediately after the 2023 Governorship Election, she visited the elected Governor and pledged her loyalty to his government and she promised to work to ensure Governor Fubara’s led- administration succeeds.
A source revealed to our correspondent that the same Former Labour Congress chairperson and strong supporter of Governor Fubara has gone to Abuja, to build a tent of loyalty with the FCT Minister, Chief Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
She showered praises on the immediate past Governor, Wike, that no one has ever produced a successor in Rivers State, since 1999, and she said Governor Fubara is ungrateful, that of no account should he stage a fight against a man, who single-handed made it possible for him to seat as an Executive Governor of a State.
