The Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikwerre and Emouha Constituency, Rt. Hon. Boniface Sunday Emerengwa, has launched an empowerment initiative for his constituency.
Despite the economic challenges facing the country, the honorable member has made it a priority to support his people. He organized a week-long free skill acquisition program aimed at reaching out to the youth, women, and elders in his constituency.
The program has attracted a significant number of participants, and it was announced that at the end of the free skill acquisition program, each participant will receive a cash gift of 100,000 Naira (One Hundred Thousand Naira only) as a start-up package.
In an interview with 9News Nigeria, the chief chairman of Igwuruta Council, Chief Franklin Nyema, expressed gratitude to the honorable member for his continuous empowerment efforts over the past five years, especially during this difficult period of economic hardship. He offered prayers for the representative.
This free skill acquisition program is one of many empowerment projects initiated by the representative for Ikwerre and Emouha Constituency in Rivers State.
