The newly appointed sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, has communicated strong messages to the aggrieved lawmakers.
Early this morning, Vice Admiral Ibas visited the renovation site of the State Assembly complex. During his visit, he addressed the media, urging the people of Rivers State to remain calm. He assured lawmakers that efforts are ongoing to provide them with suitable workspaces.
This statement was made while he was inspecting the demolition of the Assembly complex, which was leveled in connection with allegations against the suspended Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
