Security Threat: FCT orders immediate closure of Private Schools in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory has directed the closure of all Private Schools in Abuja.

A statement released by the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools in Nigeria, Abuja asked all Private Schools owners to close by Wednesday July 27th, 2022.

Earlier this week, The Federal Ministry of Education ordered the immediate closure of one of its Unity Colleges, Federal Government Colleges, Kwali, Abuja following a reported terrorist attack on the neighboring Sheda community in the Area council, which is close to the college.

Abuja the Capital city of Nigeria has in recent times witnessed a number of terrorist attacks.
