The United Arab Emirates – UAE has released the names of Nigerians and organizations accused of financing terrorism in the country.
The list which was first published by Gulf News and Sahara Reporters was gathered and made public after a ministerial resolution No. 83 of 2021 issued by the UAE Cabinet accused the persons and those organisations of supporting terrorism.
The persons and organisations were included in the list after the Cabinet asked regulatory agencies in the UAE to watch their financial, commercial and technical relations with any terrorist group around the world and take necessary action within 24 hours.
The list include six Nigerians, 32 persons from other countries and 15 organisations operating in the country.
