Despite being impeached last week and served with a court injunction to stop parading himself as the speaker. The impeached Speaker Benue state House of Assembly Hon. Terkimbir Ikyange reconvened house today and suspended 22 members who illegally reconvened the house while the house was on recess last week.
Our correspondent gathered that he equally sent a letter to the Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom to report to the state assembly and explain what he did with the Bailout, Paris Club and Domestic Loans incurred by the Federal Government to the state clear the backlog of outstanding salaries , pension and arrears in the State or face impeachment with immediate effect.
It was allegedly reported that the Governor was served with an impeachment latter yesterday at the Benue state People’s House by the Authentic principal officers of the house.
