A grassroot solidarity group canvassing for Sen. Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement (IUSM) met in the late hours of Saturday the 13th day of March 2021 for her monthly executive meeting. The meeting witnessed the presence of all the local government executives, executives from the ten(10) council wards that make up Nnewi north. Leaders of different grassroot chapters were also present for the meeting.
Speaking during the meeting, the tirelessly working local government coordinator Hon. Chigbo Uzor welcomed ardent leaders of Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement. He took time to appreciate the dedication of every member and charged them to woo more voters to IUSM. The coordinator gave assurance
that Sen. Ubah is ready to win the election and all hands must be on deck to deliver the mandate.
Members who spoke at the meeting were happy that Sen. Ubah is over performing in the senate and that gives him edge over every other candidate. The group discussed more innovative ways to penetrate inner roots of all villages within and outside Nnewi.
At the end of the meeting, a minute silence was observed for the death of an active member from Otolo Ward 1, Dr. Mrs Theresa Obidum. Members prayed for her eternal repose. Dr. Mrs Obidum before her demise was the coordinator of IUSM Ndimgbu Chapter and participated in all IUSM activities.
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is contesting the Anambra 2021 guber election. From the political calculations, he is the most favored candidate to win the election with his leadership experience, good governance initiatives, philanthropic programs, he also floats the highest number of grassroot political structures in Anambra State. Investigations also has it that he enjoys good relationship with the center.
IUSM family is ready to deliver the YPP Senator come November 6th.
