Senators Embarrassed As Power Outage Hits Senate Chambers During Plenary (Photo)

The Nigerian Senate chambers is currently experiencing a power outage, causing a delay in the commencement of the day’s legislative activities.

Senators in the chambers have been waiting as the electricity supply was disrupted.

The outage, described as a technical glitch, occurred as senators gathered for the scheduled proceedings.

The lawmakers are awaiting the restoration of electricity by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) before officially commencing the day’s sitting.

As the senators patiently waited for the power to be restored, discussions and activities have been temporarily halted.

The AEDC has been called upon to address the issue promptly to ensure that the Senate can resume its activities without further delay.
