IMO: The long awaited ANOH GAS plant in Ohaji Egbema area of Imo state Nigeria is completed for operations, 9News Nigeria learnt.

The completion is a courageous step taken by the Governor Hope Uzodinma’s shared prosperity administration to revive and put to operation, significant moribund economic base in Imo state.

The commissioning of this laudable project by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, was not just ceremonial – it was a defining milestone in the Shared prosperity administrative vision to industrialize and energize Imo State.

Speaking, Governor Uzodinma expressed happiness when he received the management of the ANOH Gas Processing Plant as they prepare to commence operations. Accordingly, “This moment marks a new chapter in our collective pursuit of economic transformation in Imo State.

“I am particularly delighted that of the two ANOH gas processing plants, the Seplat-operated facility has now been completed and is ready to begin operations. This achievement signals immense progress and promises to catalyze economic growth, job creation, and increased investment opportunities across Imo.

“The significance of this project cannot be overstated. It is a strategic pillar in repositioning Imo as an energy hub, with far-reaching impact on our economy and the well-being of our people.

As Imolites await for its full operation and delivery of gas as promised, the second ANOH GAS project is expected to be completed while the dredging of Oguta lake to connect to the national grid is another project Imolites are keenly expecting to see it happen in the Governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration.
