The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator George Akume, has invited members of the State and Police Council to a strategic security meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2025.
In a statement signed by the Director of Information and Public Relations Segun Imohiosen, the meeting will be held in a hybrid format at the Council Chambers, Aso Villa. Abuja.
According to the Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs Office, Emmanson Umobong, the meeting aims to address matters of national importance focusing in key issues affecting national security and policing.
The gathering reflects President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to tackling pressing national challenges and strengthening Nigeria’s security framework.
The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture and ensure national security as it will discuss critical issues affecting national security and policy, with members expected to participating either physically or virtually.
