Charlotte Powdrell, ex-girlfriend of UFC star Israel Mobolaji Adesanya, allegedly broke down in tears after legal battle over his wealth resulted in ber paying him $500,000.
Powdrell, who dated Adesanya for a year, reportedly took him to court after their breakup, demanding half of his estimated $15 million fortune.
She argued that he ought to have married her, and that their long-term relationship meant he was obligated to provide financial support.
However, after over a year of legal proceedings, the court ruled in her favor- ordering an equal split of Adesanya’s wealth.
But in a shocking twist, it was discovered that Adesanya’s official net worth was listed as $0.00, with no personal bank accounts in his name throughout his whole life.
It has been ALLEGED that Israel Adesanya’s entire $15 -million is being managed by his mother, Taiwo and she has been managing his finances since the start of his career.
As a result, the equal wealth split ended up working against Powdrell, who is reportedly worth $1 million.
Since Adesanya had no official assets, the court ordered her wealth to be divided between them – leaving her with $500,000 and the UFC fighter with that same amount.
The situation has sparked widespread reactions, with many questioning how Adesanya structured his finances.
Neither Adesanya nor Powdrell has made any official statement regarding the ruling.
