This is a Zimbabwean man, who marries both mother and daughter by ignoring traditional ethics.
The man, Vasko Sande decided to re-marry his mother-in- law after having an affair with her for almost seven years.
He is now his own father -in-law, in other terms.
He betrayed his wife’s confidence when he developed feelings for his mother-in-law.
After falling in love again, he allegedly became violent and abusive, elders in his community were scared and unable to control him as he disobeyed societal conventions and went ahead to wed the woman as his second wife.
The wife, Vimbai Magora, could not come to grips with her husband’s aggressive actions, causing her to seek help from the Courts.
“We got married in 2008, but since 2011, my husband has been hostile because he has fallen in love with my mother”, Magora wrote in her request for peace order.
“He began abusing me and threatening to drive me and my four kids out of marital home”
She added that because he refused to heed their counsel and prolonged his contact with his mother -in-law, their marriage was unable to be saved even by the family:s elders.
Sande, replies that he agreed and accepted with the accusations made against him and declared his desire to love and live with the two women.
Zvishavane Magistrate, Shepherd Mjanja granted peace order in favour of Magora and told Sande to never physically or emotionally abuse his wife.
