The Chairman of Emuoha Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Chidi Lloyd reacted to the gale of defections rocking his former party the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State.
Lloyd, in a statement today, said people are leaving the APC because it is more of a social club than a political party.
According to him, the party is only interested in attending burials and birthdays, and not in winning elections.
He stated that the defections have vindicated his leaving the party for the People’s Democratic Party.
He also commended the former Spokesperson of the APC, Chris Finebone for dumping the party for the ruling party in the state.
Lloyd, further stated that more members of the party will leave, adding that the APC has nothing more to offer.
