A tenant is on the run after he allegedly killed his landlord following a rent dispute.
Muhammed Mukailu is accused of hitting Adegoke Tunde on Monday morning, July 18, in the Dakwa area of Dei-Dei, Abuja.
Mukailu is said to have hit their landlord, Adegoke Tunde, with a plank on his head during an argument over the outstanding rent payment.
The landlord immediately fell to the ground and became unconscious.
Seeing this, Mukailu took to his heels.
Neighbors rushed the landlord to the hospital where he was admitted and died two days later, on Wednesday, July 20.
